Come and discover the magic behind the immersive visitor experience at SS Great Britain. Travel through time on board the ship, get up close to the impressive iron hull in the historic dry dock, and visit the award-winning Being Brunel Museum, where you’ll meet one of Britain’s greatest engineers.

The Interpretation Team will share their trade secrets and explain the creative processes they use to transport visitors back to the Victorian period. Hear about our engaging public programme – in particular, the ever-popular Christmas Weekends when the site is brought to life with music,
performances and our very own Victorian Father Christmas.

1 pm: Arrival (Visitor Centre)
1.15 pm: Immersive storytelling at the SS Great Britain – presentation with Q&A (Viridor Theatre)
2–3.30 pm: Self-guided visit
3.30–4.30 pm: Christmas drinks, mince pies and networking (Viridor Theatre)
