Join the Board
Looking for professional and personal development?
Keen to offer your skills and experience to the sector?
Wanting to build new networks and relationships?
The South West Fed is entirely volunteer-run. Our Trustees (the Board) work together to manage and lead the organisation. The specific vacant roles are listed below.
As a Board we have a broad range of experience — including interpretation, diversity & inclusion, wellbeing and the arts, museum ethics, collections, archaeology, managing change, curation, exhibitions, local history, archives outreach, outdoor/rural heritage, learning, young people and employability.
We are currently recruiting for two new Trustees: a Creative Programming Trustee and a Company Secretary Trustee.
If you are interested in shaping the future work of the organisation, supporting good governance, and bringing your experience into a values-led arts charity — we’d love you to consider joining our Board.

To apply, send your CV and a covering letter explaining how your skills and experience meet the criteria for the role.
Informal interviews will be held with two members of the Board.
The Board can co-opt Trustees prior to the following Annual General Meeting (AGM). At the AGM, members will be provided with a list of those standing, and nominees are formally voted onto the board with a yes/no member vote. Contact info@swfed.org.uk if you would like to chat about any stages of this process.
